The owner, Nate, originally had a car built in the HQ and shipped it back home to the US, but unfortunately it had a pretty severe accident after hitting water running across the road in his hometown.
After the accident, the owner went back to Japan and in 2016 worked as an apprentice with Nakai-san in the HQ during summer. During that time, he was also able to have Nakai-san build a new car for himself, this time with smooth fenders.
